Erwin Wurm

Deep

In conjunction with the 60th International Art Exhibition – Venice Biennale, Austrian artist Erwin Wurm presents his works in the Sansovino Hall of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Piazza San Marco, Venice, accessible via the Museo Correr.

For Wurm, this is a return to the Lagoon: two years ago, he was the protagonist of the “Avatars” exhibition in the same prestigious Venetian venue; moreover, in 2011 and 2017, he participated in the 54th and 57th editions of the Venice Art Biennale, respectively. Now, it is time for a new adventure for the artist from Bruck an der Mur, who returns to the prestigious Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana with a solo exhibition titled “DEEP.” …

Rita Sabo

Sacred Planet

In collaboration with the YOU – Education for Children in Need Foundation, the MAXXI-Museo Nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo in Rome presents Rita Sabo’s multifaceted works inspired by the theme of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the Unesco 2030 Agenda.

From July 4 to August 4, 2024, the Roman museum will host the Austrian artist’s solo exhibition entitled Sacred Planet, which features 12 paintings, some of them large-scale, and 19 sculptures showing the various Sustainable Development Goals that will be displayed in the Maxxi’s Corner Space, with the aim of raising awareness of the urgent implementation of Agenda 2030.
