Six pairs of arms and hands touching and clasping each other, symbolizing fraternity, dialogue, peace, and love. The artwork, first presented at the Venice Biennale in 2019, after being hosted in Marina di Pietrasanta and Vieste, returns to Puglia in Martina Franca.
“Building Bridges” is the installation by artist Lorenzo Quinn, son of the famous Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn. Men and women are made to build bridges, not walls—especially in the era we live in. That’s the meaning behind this embrace, meant to be both observed and walked through, representing six universal values of humanity, as the artist himself explained during the inauguration.

The monument-exhibition will remain in Piazza XX Settembre until August 31, before continuing its exhibition journey across Italy.
Once Extraordinary Events is the project manager of the exhibition.
