CARNEVALE DI FIRENZE 2025 “REGINE A PALAZZO”

The historic center of Florence has recently transformed into a spectacular carnival celebration for the 3rd edition of the Carnevale di Firenze, an event that showcased the perfect blend of Renaissance grandeur and modern festivity. An exclusive occasion that combines tradition, elegance, and entertainment in an extraordinary setting—the cradle of the Renaissance—the Gran Ball pays homage to Florentine history and glamour. This event revives the ancient tradition of masked balls, which originated at the court of Lorenzo de’ Medici.

The first event of the Carnival was inaugurated with the Grand Carnival Gala at Palazzo Vecchio. A magical evening filled with splendid artists, magnificent costumes, and historical tradition, the exclusive dinner featured reserved tables and strictly carnival-themed attire. It took place in the magnificent “Salone dei Cinquecento,” which, for the occasion, hosted the enchanting “Regine a Palazzo – Sogno di Volare” fashion show, an original creation by Venetian designer Antonia Sautter, the godmother and creator of the renowned Ballo del Doge.

From the ethereal costumes of the fashion show, adorned with wings and theatrical crowns, to the exclusive After Dinner Party, the Carnevale di Firenze has established itself as an unmissable event that honors both Florentine history and the modern culture of festivity. The Carnevale di Firenze project, which supports the Lega del Filo d’Oro initiative and the YOU Foundation in collaboration with UNESCO, merges Florence’s rich historical heritage with contemporary carnival traditions while maintaining a strong focus on social causes.
