PONTE VECCHIO LIGHTS AND EMOTIONS

Stefano Ricci, Unicredit and the “Ponte Vecchio, Luci ed Emozioni” Promotion Committee entrusted Once Extraordinary Events with the task of creating this unique evening by selecting the group of artists and taking care of the realization of the project in every phase: conception and creation of the displays, taking care of relations with institutions, selection and coordination of suppliers and employed personnel, selection of artists, creation of graphic material, press review, care of every organisational, technical and logistical aspect.
Stefano Ricci gives new lighting to the Ponte Vecchio, a symbolic place of the city and among the most loved in the world.

The show
The new illumination of Ponte Vecchio – which follows the donation of the new light of the Loggia de’ Lanzi with which Stefano Ricci celebrated the 40th anniversary of his activity at the end of an unforgettable parade in the Uffizi Gallery – was at the center of the celebrations on June 16th and was lit by an exceptional guest: Maestro Andrea Bocelli. To accompany the switching on of the new lighting on the symbolic bridge of the city, there was also “Fous de Bassin”, the water show on the Arno created exclusively for Florence by the French artists of the “Ilotopie” company, who brought a unique evening to life for Florentines and international guests alike.

Ilotopie, a group of artists born in 1979, has established itself in the world thanks to the uniqueness of its representations, conquering audiences in Moscow, Dubai, Paris, Lyon and Istanbul. For the first time in Italy, it presented a complete show after the performances, with a small presence, in Venice (Grand Canal, inauguration of the 2011 Carnival) and Livorno.
